Jorge Mongiovi

Biografía
Born in Rosario, he showed an interest in comics and art since he was a little boy. He started copying the comics he read and eventually he illustrated his own stories, showing a particular interest in the sci-fi genre. Growing increasingly attracted to this world, he joined the Taller Quimeras, where he learnt and shared knowledge with artists Marcelo Frusín, Leandro Fernandez, Francísco Paronzinni, y David Alabarcez. From 2002, he started working as an assistant illustrator with Leandro Fernandez and he begins his career working not just as an illustrator, but also as a comic book colorist for different publishers and places of the world. In the United States, (Bluewater, King Tractor Press, Bot Comics, Atlantis Studios), In Holland (Holco Publishing), in England (Aces Weekly Mag, Ransom Publishing), in France (Editions du Triumph, Humanoids ASC) and India (Discoveri); to name a few. In 2009, he joined the Robotto company where he worked for four years, and in 2013, together with Ulises Carpintero they opened Dead Robot company, where he currently works.
