Dans un monde parfait, Langer n'existerait pas.
Dans un monde parfait, pour nous faire rire, personne n'aurait besoin de nous rappeler les choses bruyantes qu'ils font passer pour de la politique nationale, des nouvelles internationales, de la décence publique, des valeurs universelles, des soldats de la patrie et autres saints immaculés.
Dans ce monde parfait, aux capitales solennelles et petites, le seul rire autorisé serait le rire doux du bonheur, ou de la satisfaction, sans compromettre le contenu. Rire avec Langer, en revanche, c'est rire puis s'inquiéter (on pourrait même appeler cela un slogan publicitaire : "Riez maintenant, inquiétez-vous plus tard"), car son humour fait immédiatement voler en éclats toute tentative de rire facile en passant en contrebande : idées inconfortables, plaintes subtiles, chevauchement des réalités.
L'art de Sergio Langer existe pour nous rappeler que dans ce monde parfait, nous n'avons jamais vécu et ne vivrons jamais.

Biografía
Sergio Langer is an architect, an illustrator and a graphic humorist. His first jokes appeared in 1979 in Humor Registrado magazine. Currently, he publishes in Clarín newspaper since 2003 ""La Nelly"", a daily strip written by Rubén Mira. He also collaborates with the satyrical magazine Barcelona since its beginnings (2003), where he publishes the comics “Mamá Pierri”, “Clase Media” and “Ríase la gente”.
He also publishes in lento, a monthly publication; in Mongolia magazine from Madrid since its beginnings (2013) and in the weekly publication Courrier International from Paris. He collaborated in the main local and international graphic means, both in multimedia and in tiny under fanzines. In 1993 he was the co-founder of Lápiz Japonés, a graphic experimental magazine about art and comics. He has published more than ten books that compile his works. Among them are ""Langer. Blanco y negro"" (2000), ""Burroughs para principiantes"", with Rubén Mira (2001), ""Manual de historia argentina, de Carlos a Néstor"" (2003), ""Nelly Argentinísima"" (2005), and ""For Export"" (2007), ""For Export II"" (2011) and ""Satánicos"" (2013) with Chilean illustrator Pepe Palomo.
